Mia creates pen & ink drawings occasionally mixed with watercolour and often embellished with gold leaf. A wide variety of subjects including butterflies, birds and skulls – she loves capturing detail which isn’t easily seen. She also enjoys completing commissions in other mediums such as watercolour, pastels or coloured pencil – usually pets but also buildings which have meaning for the customer such as churches.
Mia also runs a small printing studio, Babbabing, and reproduces her work (and that of other artists) as giclée prints or on merchandise such as mugs, coasters and notebooks.
