Ascott Artists

My 10yr glass working journey has evolved from hobby to obsession. I have experimented with various formats of kiln fused glass before settling on a more painterly approach. I will be exhibiting examples of work using glass powders, ceramic-based or enamel paints, metal inclusions, showing how these can be used to produce beautiful glasswork that can be functional and/or decorative. Some of the pieces require several kiln firings to produce the required effect of either depth and perspective of the image or manipulation of shape (sometimes both).
At the Ascott Estate venue I will be exhibiting alongside a diverse range of artists, some of which will be new to Bucks Art Weeks, so please come along and see all our work. We are located on the Long Room – conveniently situated next to the Café – Art and Cake – perfect! Follow the signs to the car park and note that National Trust members have free entry to the Estate.
