Artist Collective at Westbury

Vonnie began her studies in art at school, then college, and then at University along with theoretical studies in non-European art history. She holds an MA in Art & Design Education and has taught workshops and courses in textile techniques, painting and printmaking over many years. Vonnie’s current work is part of a larger project on the theme of ‘legacy’ which explores representations of the passing of time and how, when we look more closely at the world around us, we can find otherwise unseen stories within natural and manmade forms. Vonnie runs beginner and intermediate workshops in lino-reduction printmaking at Westbury Arts Centre. She also founded the ‘Printmakers Mingle Group’ that meets every other month on a Tuesday evening at Westbury Arts Centre. It ‘s an opportunity for printmakers to meet up and talk about all things related to being a practicing artist and printmaker.
