Contemporary jewellery

Amelia’s love for Jewellery began as a teenager while backpacking across India. Marvelling at the huge array of brilliant stones, her lifelong passion for creating jewellery began.

After studying Jewellery design and manufacturing at the London Metropolitan University, she went on to work alongside some of the finest goldsmiths in Buckinghamshire, where she gained extensive knowledge and became proficient in both making and repairing jewellery.

Although she enjoyed working for other, more traditional jewellers, there was an overwhelming desire to create more colourful, imaginative, inspiring pieces of jewellery, so in 2021 Amelia stepped away from employment to start up her own exciting Amelia Appleby brand.

Now in her fifth year, Amelia is enjoying the many benefits of owning an ever-growing small business from her Widmer End studio where she sees customers by appointment, undertaking commissions and the ever-growing popular option of remodelling and repurposing.
