PAINTING RADIANT ROSES IN WATERCOLOUR

Regular water colour 1 day workshops held in the wonderful characterful and bright arts venue Westbury Arts Centre
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday - monthly

The aim is to support you on your watercolour journey, learn new techniques and methods to improve your painting skills particularly in the loose and dynamic style which Nicky is so well known for. If you love florals, landscapes and natural and organic subjects the content of these workshops will inspire you.

Build a regular watercolour practice in a friendly, encouraging class packed with demos and 1 to 1 support from an enthusiastic tutor. You will go home with a painting or two on a certain theme and a bundle of new creative skills and knowledge to develop your confidence and creativity at home; you will be so inspired you wont be able to wait for the next workshop as month by month you see your own watercolour artworks blossom.

Occasionally we explore related techniques such as pen and wash or painting with inks too, giving variety to our artworks and opportunity for you to really explore your own style.

Art is good for the soul and doing it within a friendly group lifts the spirit in so many ways, see student quotes below.

STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

"Nicky’s workshops are inspirational. As a beginner to water colours her patience and enthusiasm for my attempts has been endless. The courses are always fun and I’ve learnt so much- I can’t wait to begin them again once we are allowed to meet up! "
Louise Eaton

"Nicky has a strong, energetic and colourful style and at the same can produce work of great delicacy, a truly inspirational and great teacher."
Rachel

“Nicky is an inspirational tutor. As a complete beginner 2 years ago she allowed me to develop my own style and led me in bite sized chunks with sound direction when needed and with more experienced water colour painters she encourages them to experiment even more.”
