We would love to invite you to join us for our annual luxury Christmas wreath making workshops. We couldn't believe, when we were planning the dates for this year, that this will be Where Inspiration Blooms 6th year of running wreath making classes...we've learned a lot over the years!

Your fabulously festive workshop will be lead, as always, by our very own co-founder of Where Inspiration Blooms, Caroline Oden and ably assisted (*said with a wink) by Jules, who will hopefully be making us a batch of her home-made mulling syrup for the refreshments - which she claims is where her talents lie better!

Caroline has been a member of Flowers from the Farm for many years. Flowers from the Farm is the main organisation in the UK supporting seasonal, sustainable artisan flower growers (she was also a member of their Chelsea Flower Show award winning team back in 2019), so you are in extremely safe and creative hands, plus you can be confident that none of the greenery on offer will have been flown into the UK. We are very much from the grown not flown sustainable wreath brigade!

All year we have had one eye on where we can, with permission, forage the very best evergreens, ivy and greenery to give you a huge selection of lush wreath bases.

We've also had lots of excited conversations about what ceramic, felted, textile and dried flower embellishments and adornments we can offer you this year... we had a lot of comments last year from people coming to us for the first time, about the large volume and wide selection of different 'extra bits' we had curated for the classes, so we've got a lot to live up to this year!

Since the Summer, the Where Inspiration Blooms team have also been foraging and gathering a lovely range of natural woodland materials and drying flowers, fruit and berries from our beautiful local surroundings so that we have a gorgeous array of sustainably sourced pieces to adorn your wreaths.

You will be offered the chance at the start of your class to make either a fully compostable wreath (using willow hoops made by us) or a more traditional wreath using a wire hoop (which you can simply cut your greenery off to pop it in the compost and then throw away the wire in January).

There will also be the option to add beautifully natural dyed ribbons which Jules will be foraging and making in earnest during the Autumn months, along with her mulling syrup.

We will provide all the materials that you need, but we would be grateful if you can bring your own secateurs if you are able.

We will be holding these workshops in a brand new festive space (not the same venue as last year - this one will be heated). The venue is under 2 miles from The Studio and not far from Amersham, plus it has ample parking and isn't too far from a public house - should you fancy a wee festive tipple before or after! The full address will be provided once you've booked, but you are welcome to ping us if you need to know beforehand!

The space will be dressed for Christmas, the background music discreet yet atmospheric and each of our guests will be offered a wide selection of mulled brews (both alcoholic and not), teas, coffees and hot chocolates plus delicious festive nibbley treats (made by ourselves or Susie from Amersham-based Angelic Cupcakes) to keep you refreshed. We hope to create the perfect Christmas spirit to start your festive period.

If you are coming with friends, want to bring your own bottle of bubbly/drinks etc and want to make your session extra special for any reason then please do let us know so we can make sure you are seated together and can help with anything you are bringing.
