Venue, Timing, Cost
This glass art workshop will start with a brief explanation about the types of glass and the different firing schedules to create different effects. (Don't worry, you won't be bombarded with technical information)
You will each make 2 small sun catchers as well as a choice of the following
A set of 4 coasters
A free standing curve - which can be kept flat if you prefer
A small chrome lantern (an additional charge of £8 payable on the day)
A 15cm shallow slumped dish
Materials include various types of glass; pre fused cabochons and frit (crushed glass in various sizes) The workshop is held at Fired Works gallery, Chalfont St Peter where you will find plenty of inspiration. Marie will be on hand to assist and guide so these workshops are suitable for complete beginners.
The glass workshop will take approximately 2-3 hours and your masterpieces will be ready to collect in approx 1 week. Workshops must be completed within the three hour timescale
Tea, coffee and water provided - feel free to bring your own wine
Discount cards do not apply to workshops
A minimum of 2 attendees is required for the class to run.

Please note, once a workshop has been booked, I will be dedicating my time and resources to you. If, due to unforeseen circumstances you need to postpone or cancel a workshop, please take into consideration that it may result in business loss for me. One weeks notice is required for cancellations or full payment is required. Workshops must be paid in full in advance to secure your space. I will be as flexible as I can to accommodate any requests to rearrange bookings.
