This course aims to give you the confidence to draw “Architecture in a Landscape” from direct observation, using the unique collection of buildings set in the rural setting of the Chiltern Open Air Museum, (COAM).

A range of proven techniques for creating realistic drawings will be demonstrated and individual guidance and help will be given. Whilst drawing a selection of buildings amid landscape at the Chiltern Open Air Museum, perspectives and a variety of drawing styles will be introduced, along with a range of drawing materials.

Is this course for me?
This course is suitable for those with no experience who would like to find out how to start drawing “Architecture in a Landscape” and find the drawing styles that suit them, as well as more experienced practitioners. During the course, the tutor will provide small group demonstrations and individual support to ensure that learners can work at their own level and at their own pace.
