What will I learn?
This workshop will delve into the fascinating stories and myths that have inspired works of art for millennia. We will look in-depth at a selection of works of art across the ages from the ancient Greek myth of Narcissus to the story of the life of Saint Francis of Assisi to the revival of myths and legends by the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood. Did stories and myths used to provide a framework for life and what are our stories and myths today portrayed through art?

Is this course for me?
The course is for all abilities. The aim of this course is to give you the opportunity to learn about some stories and myths through art that you may not have been aware of and to question what gives them their overriding strength and fascination.
