Handprinted linocuts inspired by nature
Field View Studio
Handprinted linocuts inspired by my love of nature, particularly British flora and fauna. My designs are often sparked by encounters with wildlife that I want to capture and preserve – a majestic kite overhead, a wren darting about my garden. These fleeting moments in nature, the changing seasons, and countryside walks all inspire me and translate into my prints.
I’m delighted to be joining the artists at Field View Studio again this year. A warm welcome awaits you at our studio and garden in this delightful ‘Rothschild’ village of Wingrave, a short distance from A418 Aylesbury to Leighton Buzzard. Enjoy delicious refreshments, garden seating and extensive views of the Vale of Aylesbury – parking is available nearby.
Expect to meet a wide range of lively, contemporary work by our group of 12 artists: paintings, ceramics, glass art, sculpture, textiles, printmaking, and portraiture. We look forward to chatting about our art, answering questions and explaining/demonstrating techniques. The potter’s wheel will be busy at weekends.
