The Granary Makers

I am a printmaker, artist-maker and ceramicist with a career background in Footwear design. I love pattern, texture and colour, especially combining all techniques and exploring new ideas. I’m at my happiest creating something out of nothing – an obsessive maker of all things!

Since 2020 I have been taking a new direction focussing solely on making small batch hand-built and thrown functional ceramics to be used everyday. Working in ceramics still combines all the mark making skills and textures I love using in printmaking.

The clay I mostly use is a speckled stoneware, which is very durable and shows off the glazes and textures perfectly. My aim is to make everyday ceramics to be beautiful, yet useful.

I work from my garden shed studio in the Chilterns.
