Selling has never been a primary motivator for me in any of my work. I would make and draw and paint, even on a desert island. However, the opportunity to show people what I have done is precious, and I like to think that when someone does go away with a cup, bowl, drawing or sculpture, that my voice is going out into the world, and that it might move people along the way.
