As a child I was always doodling and my book margins were littered with patterns, rabbits and trees.
I was strongly discouraged from art in my young days and I did not return to it until about ten years ago.
From pencil to brush I started to experiment with watercolour and sometimes acrylics. I am mainly self taught, but enjoy the comeraderie of the art group I go along to twice a month.
Painting has helped me to see more colour and shape in the world about me and watercolour especially is very liberating as it tends to run about and do it owns thing.
