Margaret Tatton-Brown is exhibiting thrown stoneware pots, decorated with attractive and varied designs. These pots are fired to 1265°C in an electric kiln. The high temperature creates strong dishwasher safe tableware, suitable for presenting food to family and friends. This exhibition will include bowls, big platters, very big platters and a few jugs. Stoneware platters of this size are not often seen as they are difficult to make on account of their tendency to crack during firing and the challenge of throwing such a large amount of clay.
