Louise Thomas

Painting

A representational and impressionist artist working in oil and watercolour paints. Thomas' work often depicts her interest in seascapes and landscapes in particular the alpine landscapes of the French and Swiss Alps. Her oil paintings frequently include the application of textured mediums to enhance the feel of the landscape subject. Work during lockdown also on display during Bucks Art Weeks 2021 includes looser impressionist style still life work.

Both textured work and the impressionist style still life paintings will be part of live demonstrations during BAW 2021 at Vitreus Art in Towcester.
