Glass @ The Buckinghamshire Craft Guild

Functional, Decorative & Sculptural Glass
Katy Quinn Goldfinch
Tlws Johnson Waddesdon Trees

The techniques our artists employ include fusing, slumping, casting, painting, gilding, etching and hand blowing glass.
Tlws Johnson works with fused, hand-painted and cast glass making colourful jewellery, plates and coasters to much larger scale tactile sculptural pieces.
Katy Quinn has developed a unique method which combines gilded and etched glass which she then goes on to create intriguing jewellery, mirrors, paperweights and wall art.
Alison Vincent is our resident glass blower, this incredibly hot and physical work is rewarded by a variety of work from smooth, shiny vessels in beautiful gem colours to pieces representing wild snowy mountains.
Ewa Wawryzniak specialises in striking cast glass pieces sometimes using sand casting to create a textured surface, she also works with fused glass adding metal parts to create interesting effects.
