Catherine Bridget Phillips Amersham inspired ceramics.
Catherine Bridget Phillips monochrome textured ceramic vessels.

Catherine Bridget Phillips completed her studies in Contemporary Crafts at Bucks New Uni in 2016, specialising in Ceramics & Glass. Upon graduation, her colourful Pick n’ Mix Prosecco glasses & interest in colour won her a nod from the Contemporary Glass Societies Graduate Review. Craft was a perfect marriage of her interests in art & design, & in 2019 she was shortlisted for the Cræftiga International prize.
Phillips is driven by the need to channel her passion into creativity & craft, the discovery in the making process, & use of her hands.
For Bucks Art Weeks, Catherine has produced a body of work in response to the collections at Amersham Museum & her walks around the Chilterns. With a passion for process, the work has been made using a variety of techniques and ceramic materials. There will also be some new sculptural vessels as well as her signature collections of functional ware on display.
