Textile Artist and Embroidery Tutor

Multi-award winning embroiderer, Loetitia Gibier has always had the need to create “something”. She learned embroidery from her step-mum before going to uni and has not stopped since. Trained as a biologist, her work is very detailed and inspired by nature. Loetitia has got multiple qualifications in Stumpwork embroidery and is currently still training at the prestigious Royal School of Needlework. She uses traditional techniques like Stumpwork, Goldwork and Silk Shading but in a modern way to produce true to size butterflies and amazing bird portraits. Her work will be exhibited in the Main Gallery for the duration of Bucks Art Weeks and she will be demonstrating on Saturdays during the exhibition.
