Helen Sayer

Painting & Printmaking

Helen Sayer is a Buckingham-based artist whose practice explores the material and aesthetic capabilities of painting, challenging its conventions to investigate what it really is, and what it can be, using landscape as a subject matter. Although she works across artistic disciplines and 2D and 3D formats, her most recent studio output has been centred around oil painting and printmaking, employing a combination of traditional and experimental techniques. In 2016, she was selected to exhibit in the main curated show at Wirksworth Festival in Derbyshire, and has also exhibited her work in London, Helsinki and at MK Gallery, amongst other places.
