Papier Mâché and Mixed Media Artist

Emma graduated with a BA(Hons) degree in Illustration in 1997 & since then has been working as a professional illustrator & maker. Her work has been seen in many places including Liberty London & Fenwick of Bond Street.

Emma's passion is mixed media illustration & papier-mâché- the technique used to create her folk art animal characters. She admits she is a magpie at heart who loves to find discarded, old & loved items to use in her art. You will often see her work decorated with handmade felt & paper flowers too.

For her flat hand embroidered art pieces, Emma uses a special technique to hand transfer her own illustrations onto fabric. She then embroiders her favourite quotes, flowers & other delightful things around the illustrations making her pieces look timeless & delicate.
