Camilla uses a refined palette of soft colours to create quiet and contemplative urban landscapes in acrylic on hand mixed gesso. She removes contemporaneous distraction and allows us to see, often for the first time the beauty of the built environment.
In 2014 Camilla won Artist of the Year in Artists & Illustrators Magazine. This was followed in 2015 by a solo exhibition of new work presented by the Jonathan Cooper Gallery in Chelsea, London. She’s been shortlisted twice for the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition, in 2015 and 2017, and won the Chairman’s Prize at the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition in 2017.
Camilla's small studio is on a narrow one way lane accessed via Vicarage Road by car and if on foot from Reading Road (small entrance opposite Jewsons). It's walkable from the town centre. There's limited parking at the studios but you can park on the surrounding residential roads or at Henley Train Station car park (5 minute walk).
