Damian enjoys photographing woodland and local landscapes in and around the Chiltern Hills. Damian tends to only shoot early in the morning before the sun is up or very low in the sky. He goes out with his camera pretty much every day, even if it is only for about half an hour. He finds the light in the morning much softer than the light in the day or evening. Weather conditions like mist, fog and frost are aways better first thing in the morning.
Damian had three images commended in last years Landscape Photographer of the year competition and one of them also won the Adobe prize. Damian exhibits his work locally several times a year, and this is his second year exhibiting in Bucks Open Studios.
