Biography:
Growing up in the countryside instilled in me a strong passion for nature which now finds expression in my woodland jewellery. I have always been creative with a successful career in digital TV graphic design, but I yearned to make a physical product. The catalyst to make the leap came when I decided to attend a contemporary jewellery class with my son in 2016 after he returned from travelling in India with ideas for a jewellery business. Slowly my work evolved a botanical theme as my skills developed, eventually becoming the business it is today.
Inspired by the Chiltern Countryside, I create woodland themed jewellery from recycled gold and silver with ethically sourced gemstones. Created in my well-equipped garden studio, I capture the wonderful textures and details found in nature from direct impressions of leaves, seeds and twigs. My oak leaf and acorn range is all created from moulds taken from one oak tree in a small hamlet just outside Tring which creates a strong connection to nature across the seasons within the range.
Jewellery can also be created by repurposing your own sentimental heirloom jewellery, giving a new life to a no longer worn, but treasured piece.
