Bhav’s Art had its first pop-up art stall in the summer of 2022 and it was a huge success in terms of introducing my artwork to the local community. My latest venture is Mindfulness Inspired Art, where I design and deliver mindfulness-led creative workshops to adults and children encouraging Art & Culture as well as focusing on well-being and self-care. I am launching a new community project around the Summer holidays of 2024, offering a 6-weeks program around mindfulness-inspired art workshops to adults and families.
I love to participate in Art Competitions, Exhibitions, Handmade Art fairs, Summer Fete, Shop Local Markets, and Events meeting people and talking to them.
I am the founder and director of Mindfulness Inspired Art CIC. I am also the chairperson of the South Asian Artists’ Community (SAAC).
Biography:
Hi, welcome to my artistic world, where creativity and mindfulness converge. My name is Bhavika, which means ‘expressions’. I was born and raised in Gujarat, India.
I am passionate about exploring the transformative power of art as a means of self-expression and self-discovery. Each brushstroke and every creation is an invitation to delve into a journey, allowing for introspection and connection with the present moment. My work is an ode to the beauty of simplicity, a celebration of the nuances found in the interplay of colours, textures, and emotions.
I am a self-taught artist and have been painting since my childhood as a hobby. My father has always been the biggest inspiration. I am a parent carer of twins and I work in the corporate sector as my main profession. I am a neurodivergent woman and passionate about spreading awareness of living with neurodiversity. My abstract art is a reflection of the way I see things.
I am exhibiting my artwork for the first time at BAW. I am one of the artists from the group ‘The Creatives at Westbury Art Centre’ and I am looking forward to showcasing some unique artwork for your home from my collection. I would like to invite you to join me on this journey where I have created the artwork while healing from complex trauma. In this mindful exploration, where art becomes a vessel for tranquility and a catalyst for inner harmony.
Thank you.
