Biography
I studied art to A level, but am mainly ‘self-taught’.
The inspiration for my art comes from a passionate interest in British wildlife and wildflowers.
Using watercolours, I try to capture the fragile beauty and detail of even the tiniest wildflower, often also adding animals, birds, insects and fungi to my designs to reflect my wider interests.
I paint in watercolour and acrylic, sometimes adding definition to detailed precise work with fine pen.
Recently, I have painted pet portraits as commissions and have done nursery designs.
