I returned to art following my retirement after spending my career path both in the WRAF and Social Care Management. Mainly self taught having passed my art exams at school, sold my first painting of a song Thrush age 17. I have attended various workshops both local and away since retirement, in charcoal, pastel, acrylic and oil. I am a member of the WADAS Art Group in Winslow and I attend a weekly Tuesday art group, part of WADAS at Padbury Village Hall near Buckingham. My main subjects are landscapes, animals and seascapes, but I also enjoy painting abstracts and portraits. I was introduced to oil painting by the late Caroline Hulse an inspirational artist/tutor whilst attending several of her weekend workshops at Jo Daisy Studio in Berkshire, sadly no longer available. I mainly work from my little ‘Mo’s Art Studio’ in my garden. Joining Bucks Art weeks membership is my latest venture.
