A love of nature and the 'Great Outdoors' has encouraged Ian to travel around the UK in the search for his wildlife and landscape images - in particular, the Lake District and Peak District, whilst also scouring his local area.
His images have been successful in various competitions: BBC Wildlife magazine, Bucks Art Weeks, Art in the Park, the Fine Art Photography awards along with the British Wildlife Photography Awards.
