Emma is a magpie for salvaged and reclaimed timber, which she repurposes in her Chesham workshop to make bespoke furniture and homeware items—from desks and bedside tables to candle holders, wine racks and plant stands. Designs are pared back and unfussy and celebrate the small details: velvety-smooth finishes, corners ‘just so’, knots, whorls and grain front and centre.
She is also passionate about reconditioning old-fashioned or unloved furniture, seeing beyond decades-old varnish through to the original form, and reimagining each piece's potential. She uses beautiful contemporary colours and patterns, collaborating with her customers to meet their vision and create unique, re-loved treasures.
