I am the founder of our local art society Buckingham Art for All (Bafa). I have been painting for well over 40 years and my preferred medium is oils. I have attended summer schools in portraiture and landscape given by the Florence Academy of Art. I enjoy painting landscapes and portraits in oils and my practice is to work from sketches, studies and photographs completing the finished works in my studio. Recently I have been experimenting with surreal drawings inspired by Mattias Adolfsson. My work can be found in collections in the UK, France, and Japan.
Artists that inspire me are: -
Rembrandt van Rijn, Singer Sargent, Joaquin Sorolla, Lucien Freud, Edward Hopper, Josef Zbukvic, Herman Pekel, Mattias Adolfsson and many others
