I trained as a mental health nurse when I left home and in the early naughties I gained a place at the Royal School of Needlework on their apprenticeship scheme. This allowed me to purse my passion for needlework and excellence in needlework. My training finished in 2006 when I then trained to be an art teacher.

Leather work seemed a natural progression. I started making belts and this led on to bags, accessories, shoes and gloves. I am an eternal learner and enjoy bringing my own learning and experiences into the courses I teach.

I also undertake church embroidery commissions and repairs.
