About twelve years ago I was reunited with my love and passion for being an artist, having primarily gone to an art school, for a time, many years ago. For most of my working life I have used my creativity in various ways and now stepping into this adventure, it has been an exciting journey that has been unfolding and evolving, exploring texture and composition.
I am regularly inspired by the natural world around me, from the skies with their beautiful clouds and colour formations that differ on certain days and seasons, to painting rich abstract landscapes that often include their natural animals, blending with colour and form, creating movement and atmospheres. Capturing pets/animals and people with their unique expressions, richness of life and deeper significance.
Working in Acrylics and oils are my main medium, though for certain compositions I use soft pastels and mixed media.
I have been involved in and sold in local exhibitions as well as operating on a commission basis for pets or desired images and memories interpreted on canvas.
