Born in Trinidad where she spent her early childhood, Sharon’s love affair with painting began.
Migrating to the UK in her late teens, painting remained a passion she one day hoped to pursue. However, with a highly demanding and stressful career in the NHS, it remained her hobby but one that was a great sense of escapism.
As a trained life coach, she discovered the personal benefits of mindfulness, which allowed her to see and appreciate the things we often take for granted. It is with this sense of being that inspires Sharon’s painting today.
The smell of wet grass after the rain, the brilliance of colours when kissed by the sun, the reflection and sound of flowing water are just some of the things that she tries to capture when she paints.
