Many of the ideas for my designs come from our stunning, natural surroundings; the delicate textures, patterns and forms we find in nature. Beautiful, natural objects, collected on walks around the country, become templates, models or the starting point for an idea. I have made jewellery for people using, for example, a leaf, flower or seed from their favourite tree or flower in their garden, or local environment, and enjoy working with people to design and create bespoke pieces of jewellery that have special, personal meaning for them.
My jewellery is individually designed and made in my home studio using traditional silversmithing methods enhanced by fresh, modern influences and techniques. I work mainly with sterling silver, sometimes with accents of copper or gold, and sometimes incorporating semi-precious stones and other materials such as glass and resin.
You are welcome to arrange to come and view pieces in my studio and commissions are welcome.
