The Open Landscape - The Rhythm of Running - A solo exhibition of original abtract landscapes By Amy Huitson.

"As a abstract artist, my creative process is deeply intertwined with and is a reaction to the feelings and emotions evoked by the landscape. This new body of work, inspired by my training for the London Marathon, captures the essence of my encounters with the landscape over a number of months. Running through sunlit mornings, stormy nights, and everything in between, I am trying to capture the fleeting sensations of freedom, exhilaration, struggle, and joy onto the canvas. The textures, colours, and forms in my work are not literal representations but rather emotional imprints of the repeated routes, trails, weather and rhythm of my footsteps. Through my mark making, I invite viewers to experience the interplay between the physicality of running and mental escape. Each painting is a reflection of a moment in time and an attempt to document my journey."
